Helping the poorest people in Nepal
SEWA provides assistance to the poorest people in Nepal, particularly street children and their families, aiming to improve living conditions and enhancing future prospects, by creating self sufficient, sustainable futures.
Self-reliance is our beginning
SEWA is realistic with its goals and that means small-scale projects aimed at developing self-reliance. SEWA does this in cooperation with the local population with respect for their wishes and their culture.
Street children back home
Central to SEWA’s projects is the Back Home program, which focuses on the care of street children in SEWA home coupled with the Back Home program. Until the end of 2010 the project was partly funded by Impulsis.
Your support is vital

Name change
You may know us under the old name; Rainbow Foundation Nepal. Our new name is SEWA, which means ‘selflessly serving others with your body, mind and money”. In the previous (and next) newsletter you can read about our reasons for this name change.
